For more than 25 years, Ida Keeley has been trusted to manage public programs, oversee multimillion-dollar budgets, lead teams, and bring people together to solve complicated problems.
Now she’s running for State Representative to bring that experience to Olympia and make government work better for the people it serves.

I am honored to be endorsed by the Washington State Council of Firefighters.
I have worked alongside firefighters and EMS throughout my career. I know the bravery they show every time they run toward danger. I know the trauma they witness and carry home with them, and the physical exhaustion ...that comes with the job.
I also know their workload is about to grow. As rural clinics and hospitals close, wildfires increase, and behavioral and mental health needs go unmet, more of those calls land on our fire and EMS crews. That will keep getting worse unless we push back on what is happening both federally and in Olympia.

Beyond grateful that Transportation for Washington has endorsed my campaign for the 39th Legislative District!
In Snohomish and Skagit counties, getting around is about more than a commute. It's whether a senior can reach a medical appointment, whether a worker can get to a job, ...whether a student can get to school safely, and whether emergency responders can reach us quickly. For people with disabilities, reliable and accessible transportation can be the difference between independence and isolation. And in our rural communities, where distances are long and options are few, it can decide whether people can fully take part in community life.
Every person in our district deserves safe, reliable, accessible ways to get where they need to go.

Women are often the backbone of our communities. We bring people together to celebrate, surround families with comfort in times of grief, and rally everyone to help problem solve during a crisis. We know when more hands make light work vs when there are too many cooks in the kitchen.
Women's representation matters. LD39 needs experienced leaders who will make sure our communities are heard and bring home the resources we need.

Thank you to our amazing volunteers who came out this morning to doorbell in Marysville. I also had lovely conversations in Sedro-Woolley this afternoon.
What I keep hearing at the door, including from several Republican voters, ...is that people are tired of the same old party line, where folks complain but nothing gets done. They want someone with the experience and the partnerships to pass budgets and bring resources home to the 39th, and that's exactly what I bring!
